Rebecca Uden

Rebecca began dancing at the age of five. She studied ballet, tap, jazz, modern, singing and troupe until the age of 16 years.
At this time she successfully auditioned to join the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama (M.A.D.D.) at Nottingham to continue training to a professional level.

In 2001 she successfully graduated having taken examinations in all the above to a high level plus she obtained her associate teaching qualifications in both tap and modern (A.I.D.T.A.) In 2002 she furthered her qualifications by taking her associate freestyle disco (A.I.D.T.A.) and associate modern (A.I.S.T.D.)

In 2003 Rebecca raised over £500 for Children In Need by holding a sponsored Divas Dance Week, and in 2004 and 2006 she held hugely successful shows in Folkestone for audiences of 800 uniting all her branches. Divas Dance have also made guest appearances at The Leas Cliff Hall Folkestone, and as part of an Arts Festival at Ashford. She now has five branches of Divas Dance at Ashford, Capel, Lyminge, Lympne and Whitfield.
